About the event
Germantown Culture Nites is a new series highlighting the best and brightest ideas, creativity, and culture in Philly and beyond. Cross-pollinate and engage in conversations around global travel, local causes, current events, and the contours of our humanity.
Being in Black History Month, February's theme is Liberation: How can we see ourselves beyond February?
What to expect:
- Live dance performance by Performer in Residence Henry Cervantes Ramirez.
- Examine Steven CW Taylor's "Black Girl Magic" photo through the lens of Liberation.
- Converse with Nationally recognized museum curator Monica O. Montgomery and Ubuntu Fine Art owner Steven CW Taylor, in a comfortable and relaxed setting.
- Chat with a stranger, make a future friend, and discover the creative community you need to thrive.
- Light bites and wine.
